Bessie-isms and Quotable for June 28, 2016

*Times change. Today, people sell junk in yard or garage sales that in previous generations they would have tossed in the trash, or donated to some charity. They would have been ashamed to try and make money off their crap. Either we now have no shame, or the economy is worse than you think!

*You can complain all you want about the cost of modern life, but after a night of 90 degree weather and high humidity, with no air conditioning, you’ll have a better opinion of modern life.

An autobiography usually reveals nothing bad about its writer except his memory.
