*A person of exceptional character and accomplishment would be offended by faint praise, and deservedly so. However, for the average person, faint praise would be mostly a work of fiction.

*When goodies are being handed out, the average child would greatly prefer to be an only child. In the dark of night, when it’s storming, being an only child is a lot less appealing.


Words can never adequately convey the incredible impact of our attitude toward life. The longer I live the more convinced I become that life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond to it.
