Live now: There May Be No Tomorow
If you were told you only had six months to live, there would be a whole lot of things you’d want to do, right? You’d certainly want to pick up the pace a bit, and stop wasting all the time you normally do! I have bad news; you may not even have six months! You might not wake up tomorrow, or get hit by a bus on the way home from work. Life is pretty iffy at times.
Why are you clinging to an actuarial table, hoping you live the average lifespan? For every one who reaches a hundred, someone dies at forty, thirty, or ten. Are you really eager to go see if God is waiting on you, or do you have some undone things that need your attention? You’ve spent your entire life up to now doing and loving, being the perfect person you dream of? Ooops, maybe you need to be a might busier?
You wonder why I’m harping on the obvious, don’t you? Well, consider this. I have friends who had a grand daughter. She went from feeling bad, to being unconscious and dying in less than five days. Never woke up, never got to say goodbye or I love you one last time. She was full of hopes and dreams. You are too. What are you doing about them? The clock is ticking, the one you aren’t permitted to see!
So tell me, why aren’t you living more? You think there’s no hurry? Are you planning to live, hoping to love next week? Next month? Next year? The more you put it off, the shakier your plan gets. You get what you get, number of days wise in life. Use it or lose it. It’s pretty much a crapshoot. It’s just not a good idea to waste what you do have. Get busy on this now. You’ll never regret living and loving more, I can assure you of that!
